I loved the bed. My group of kids from my church slept well.
After making my reservation almost a month in advance, it was a church trip didnt know the hotel was privatly owned and needed a different tax i d number form. Had 16 hot kids(praise dance team at our church)sitting on the van for about 1hr and 15 mins because thats how long it took for them to check us in after manager had to be called in from home. Then while checking in found out that while i was reserving my room they took monies from my card that day, and i was only making reservation. I did get my monies back at check but was a big inconvenience.
Very clean and nice hotel to stay and everyone was very nice to us...
I reported my frige was out the following morning and nothing was ever done about it.
I liked that we had movie channels available for free. The front desk attendant that was there our first night did go out of his way to find me an extension cord, as they typically did not have those on hand.
The first issue was that we could not get any extra pillows, what we had in our room is what we got, no more. We asked for extra blankets and were told we had to come to the front desk to get them ourselves. We had to ask for towels for the pool and they were small and worn out. The shower was missing parts and did not have good water pressure. We were woke up by a loud cleaning lady at 9:00 in the morning, after we had checked in only 7 hours prior... Cleaning crews should have a log of those details!
I had a covered box of chocolates on the night stand. By morning there were small bugs (sugar ants, we believe) all over the night stand. The supervisor of housekeeping came to our room when we called the front desk. She was very professional and understanding, but I also requested to speak with a front desk manager. I was told several times that a front area manager had not arrived to work. The last request was asked upon check out. I was still told that they had not arrived at 12:15pm. As we were speaking a manager walked to the front counter. I didn't confront the situation at that time because I was really insulted by this time. I feel that my issue was not address because the front area felt I and my issues did not warrant their attention. I pray I wasn't disregarded because my race? I paid my room fees, believed I was a guest at your facilities and my complaints should have been addressed. Word of mouth is a very effective advertisement.
Our stay was wonderful, the bed was sooo comfortable! Thank you to all the staff!!
